Malta is a unique place by many facts. Namely, it is a very small island heavily overcrowded, densely populated and expensive, especially in the tourist places. On the other hand there are so many places and attractions to see and explore: island Gozo, Bugiba, Sliema, Marsaskala, Rabat, St George bay… Those who travel in Malta on their own are advised to pick -up a FREE brochure with tips for their holiday from one of the tourist offices run by the Malta Tourism Authority. In case they think they have been abused or overcharged they can go there and launch a complaint. Action WILL be taken asap.
